ACE-E Work Groups and Roles
Board of Trustees (BOT)
- Provides and reviews vision, mission, and goals
- Connects and coordinates Work Groups; grows and approves
appropriate budgets
Events Work Group (EWG)
- Maintains, sustains, and recruits for ACE-E organizational leadership with teambuilding
collaborative events
- Plans and implements events to support the Work Groups and Trustees
Mentoring Work Group (MWG)
- Recruits, trains, implements, evaluates, and sustains the
volunteer mentors from local employers, communities,
government, and military volunteers to help public school age youths
Post High School Work Group (PHSWG)
- Implements a Junior Tech Fellowship Program and a “peer” mentoring career initiative
- Coordinates ACE PILOTS and computer related technologies used by students, parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, and mentors for
development of technological job skills and lifelong careers
Strategic Charter Work Group (SCWG)
- Identifies opportunities, needs, and resources; develops budget plans; recruits ACE-E members
- Tracks, measures, and publicizes successes
