Helping Hand

Board of Trustees (BOT)

  • Provides and reviews vision, mission, and goals
  • Connects and coordinates Work Groups; grows and approves appropriate budgets

Events Work Group (EWG)

  • Maintains, sustains, and recruits for ACE-E organizational leadership with teambuilding collaborative events
  • Plans and implements events to support the Work Groups and Trustees

Mentoring Work Group (MWG)

  • Recruits, trains, implements, evaluates, and sustains the volunteer mentors from local employers, communities, government, and military volunteers to help public school age youths

Post High School Work Group (PHSWG)

  • Implements a Junior Tech Fellowship Program and a “peer” mentoring career initiative
  • Coordinates ACE PILOTS and computer related technologies used by students, parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, and mentors for development of technological job skills and lifelong careers

Strategic Charter Work Group (SCWG)

  • Identifies opportunities, needs, and resources; develops budget plans; recruits ACE-E members
  • Tracks, measures, and publicizes successes
